Aspen Medical has been contracted by Santos Ltd to provide essential medical services for onsite staff and contractors at their LNG processing plant in Darwin, NT. Working in a small team, you will provide a range of primary health care and occupational health management activities including responding to medical emergencies as the clinical lead. We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses and Paramedics who can work with Clinical Governance Frameworks, providing evidenced based, client focused and transparent health services, that demonstrates advanced clinical skills and comprehensive decision making.
To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and advanced trauma management such as PHTLS
- Drug and Alcohol testing certification
- Current unrestricted driver’s license
- Confident user of MS Office and medical database systems
- Previous working experience in Resource/Mining industry (desirable)
- Training and Assessment Certificate IV (desirable)
- High level communication (written and verbal) and documentation skills
- Ability to work within scope of practice
This opportunity is offered on a Drive In/Drive Out basis – candidates local to Darwin are highly preferred.
