We are looking to recruit both Emergency Care Paramedic/Nurse and Charge Nurse/Sister to work in our ED.
As an ECN/ECP you will be work within the resuscitation area, you will be responsible for initial patient assessment, advanced life support; patient monitoring and individual’s ongoing care. The role offers ongoing professional support and medical supervision for those who wish to transition from pre-hospital care into a friendly ED hospital setting. Candidates will have had ALS training and be looking to join a supportive team. ECP/ECN will spend approximately 80% of their time in the Resus room, the remaining will be across all areas of the ED, appropriate training for this will be provided.
The CN/SR role you will work across the ED to support the Senior Clinical & Nursing team. In order to deliver this support, you will need to have a firm understanding of local and national initiatives which will help the ED meet the New Emergency Care standards. This will allow us to continue our commitment to our community of the delivery of compassionate, safe, and effective care.
Successful applicants will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a B5 staff nurse within Emergency Nursing, or equivalent emergency pre- hospital care, you should possess a wide range of appropriate clinical skills and have a keen interest in developing your career in Emergency Care.
